| Hello Everyone, as it was mentioned during practises during the last week of uni, we are planning a trip to the closest archery shop. The idea is, that we go down for a day trip, and grab equipment for those who want them. This is much better than online shopping as they help you to set up your new bow and arrows to your needs, and there are no uncomfortable questions about your draw length. An other main reason to join is "for the fun of it", in case you dont want to get new stuff. I propose that we go on the weekend, 29th of January, how does this sound? I will try to get a minibus booked as soon as possible. Oh the link: http://www.eastcote-archery.co.uk/If you are interested please let me know, so i can have a better idea about the numbers. Thank you! | |

| Alright, so far I got replies from 11 people. I am sure this bunch should happily fit into a minibus. The way I planned the trip was: leaving at 8 from the union, the trip is about 3 hours, so we arrive for the opening time at 11. People grab their new and shiny equipment, which will take pretty long probably, meanwhile the others might be able to shoot (details on the website, please note that it seems to be pretty small so probably not all of us can squeeze in the range). After finished we pack up and leave for Dundee, probably around 3-4 in the afternoon, so arriving 6-7 the earliest. I hope to get the trip covered from the club money. There are no plans for food and drinks, so please bring your own supplies. If there is anything I forgot, please ask. Also any recommendations are welcome. | |
